It has been a while since our last post, simply because there really was not much to post about after the release of Outcast – Second Contact. Things are changing however as it looks like 2019 begins with a small bit of Outcast information.
Publisher THQ Nordic announced that they have acquired the rights to the classic open-world adventure game “Outcast” from its original three creators; Franck Sauer, Yves Grolet and Yann Robert. While THQ Nordic AB is handling the acquisition, daily operations will be conducted by THQ Nordic GmbH in Vienna, Austria. This includes sales and distribution, evaluation of sequels, and possible new content.
We hope that the Outcast IP has a bright future with THQ Nordic and we are excited to announce more as soon as information becomes available!
